Explore a replica Cahuilla Indian Village which sits on the site of an ancient Cahuilla village. This tour includes a short guided nature walk (geared to the abilities of the guests in the jeep), several opportunities to get out of the jeep and see the desert up-close-and-personal.

Stunning formal gardens surround an ancient live oak in this beachfront park. The gardens offer visitors a peaceful stroll along winding reflection ponds sheltered by a picturesque oak hammock. Washington Oaks is also famous for its unique shoreline of coquina rock formations along the Atlantic beach. This ancient rock formation creates the perfect spot for beachcombing, tidal pool exploring, and photography. 

Visitors can picnic and fish from the beach or the seawall along the Matanzas River on the park's west boundary.  

A number of short trails are perfect for hiking and bicycling, and a visitor center offers opportunities for learning about the park's natural and cultural resources.
